Description

These 4-ingredient savoury broccoli waffles are packed with veggie goodness and cheesy flavour, making them perfect for toddlers and the whole family. They’re quick to whip up and ideal as a snack, breakfast, or a simple side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (250g) cooked broccoli, finely chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons wholemeal self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup (40g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheese, chopped cooked broccoli, eggs, flour, and garlic powder. Mix well until fully combined.
  2. Preheat your mini waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. Lightly grease the waffle iron with oil or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  4. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the mixture into the waffle maker and spread it out evenly—avoid overfilling.
  5. Close the lid and cook for 3–4 minutes, or until the waffles are golden and crisp.
  6. Carefully remove the waffles and let them cool slightly.
