Description

These chocolate covered oranges are the easiest 3 ingredient snack to make. Mandarin orange pieces are dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with coconut for the yummiest healthy treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 mandarin oranges
  • 50g dark chocolate (I like 70%-85% dark chocolate)
  • 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Peel the mandarin/ orange and divide it into segments. Line a baking tray or large plate with baking paper.
  2. Place the chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second increments, until melted. Stir in between each session.
  3.  Dip half of each orange segment into the chocolate mixture. Allow excess chocolate to drip off then place on the prepared tray.
  4. Lightly sprinkle each orange segment with coconut and a tiny pinch of salt. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until chocolate is set.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Best enjoyed at room temperature*.
