Description

This lemon dill hummus recipe is bright, fresh and perfect for snacking. Made with just 5 ingredients + packed with plant based protein.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest/peel
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup cold water, to reach desired consistency

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or high speed blender, and blend until smooth. Add extra water to thin out if needed.
  2. Garnish with extra fresh dill and lemon zest if desired. Serve with crackers, pita bread or various cut vegetables.

Notes

  • Store leftover dill hummus in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. Drizzle a thin layer of olive oil on top to keep it fresh.
