Buffalo Tuna Salad

Description

Healthy buffalo tuna salad with greek yoghurt puts a tangy and spicy spin on the classic tuna salad and is ready in 10 minutes! It's easy to make, great served as a salad, on bread or lettuce wraps!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 425g/ 15oz can tuna in spring water
  • 1/2 cup red capsicum (bell pepper), diced
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 1 carrot, peeled + diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 3 tablespoons buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup plain greek yoghurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt + pepper
  • 1 tablespoon coriander (cilantro), optional

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the tuna chunks with a fork to break them apart.
  2.  Add the chopped celery, carrot, capsicum, onion, yoghurt, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Gently mix together until well combined.
  3. Serve immediately or chill it in the fridge for half hour.
  4. Garnish with coriander (cilantro) before serving if desired.

Notes

Store leftover salad in a airtight container in the fridge for up 3-4 days.
